Daffodils were in bloom in the newly mulched perennial beds. I liked the quaint mailbox in this bed. In the distance you can see the barns and workyards for this horticultural park.
This is the great lawn by the historic manor house. Sunday the house was open for touring and the great lawn was hosting a dog obedience show. There were little signs posted in the flower beds that said no dogs allowed in the flower beds.
This was an unusual tree that was beginning to send out light yellow leaves. I don't know what kind of tree it is. If you click on the photo, can you identify it for me?
The gardens in this park are just beginning to come to life after the winter cold. By June they should be in full glory.
