"The trouble with retirement is that you never get a day off." ~Abe Lemons
**We are a school librarian and a federal accountant enjoying retirement--with all its days off. This blog allows us to keep our family and friends updated on some of our thoughts and activities from the mundane to the profound with a few interesting tidbits added for fun. We try to stay imaginative and adventuresome in our every day lives.
Beautiful flowers for My World! I was just thinking today how lovely the flowers are at this time of year. I love the two pots by your garden step. Janice.
These photos colour my day, which started dreary and gray! Thanks for the visit! The little dog, you like so much is not in the Netherlands, but he is in Australia, where my younger daughter lives. I agree with you: he is a sweetie!
I do love your world, a garden is as you know, my passion but a garden with blowsy roses is my utter delight!
Thank you so much for introducing me to Kate Morton. Like very hot tea, I am taking her in small spaced sips to prolong the enjoyment...I COULD OF COURSE GOBBLE HER UP QUICKLY LIKE A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE CAKE, but then it would only be a memory...
As soon as I mentioned it, my darlig daughteer went out and bought it for me, it is definitely easing the discomfort of the dreaded lurgy I picked up on the road home. Thanks again.
