Michael Post, Funeral Director Speaks to NARFE

Michael Post is the owner and funeral director of the Baker- Post Funeral Home and Cremation Center. This is the oldest funeral home in Manassas, VA and the only one that has a cremation center on site at the funeral home. Baker- Post Funeral Home has been in business for 115 years.
Yesterday at our monthly NARFE meeting he told us that the trend today is for cremation. Jack and I want to be cremated and then have our ashes interred at Arlington National Cemetery. What are you planning for your final arrangements? I know, not much fun to think about but death is a part of life and we must plan for our final demise.

  1. Yes, not something we like to think about too often but necessary. In my family for as far back as I can remember cremation was the way. It will be something I will follow. We will probably head to Arlington also. We visit my mother-in-law who is buried there several times during the year. It is one of the most beautiful resting places on earth.
