Pittman Grove was a Methodist Church Camp. It consisted of 12 avenues radiating from a central hub that was the church camp. Methodists built these teeny tiny Victorian homes that are still lived in today. We passed by one that had an operating outhouse and someone was just heading to the john!

Jack just reminded me that the 12 avenues radiating from the central hub stood for the 12 apostles of Jesus.
