My World Tuesday Part I = Fair Oaks Mall

My World Tuesday Part I = Fair Oaks Mall
Fair Oaks Mall in Centreville, VA has a Narnia theme this Christmas. This is the entrance to the Narnia bubble to see Santa and have a photo opt.
Lots of parents with children decked out in their holiday best were waiting in line this past Saturday morning.
Jack and I enjoyed seeing the little ones dressed for their big moment with Santa.
Since it was still mid morning so many parents were getting a nibble and a cup of coffee at the Starbucks venue in the middle of the mall while they waited in line for Santa.
The decorations are very minimal this year. Last year's display had lots of zoo animals around the holiday trees. Maybe the mall is cutting back on the displays to save money. I guess that would be another sign of the hard times today.
The tall tree in the middle by the mall elevator was very beautiful.
I just had to take a photo of all these bored looking husbands waiting patiently or impatiently for their wives to finish cruising the mall looking for Christmas bargains.
The mall did have several large screen TVs set up for the men to watch. Naturally the TVs were tuned to college football games.

Well, that's Part I of My World Tuesday.

Come back here tomorrow to see where we like to eat after we have finished shopping at Fair Oaks Mall. Now please go visit some other My World Tuesday memes by clicking here:

Wow, all the animals have gone! I didn't think there would ever be a change of decoration at the mall. Your photos are lovely and I daresay I will be visiting Fair Oaks very soon. I still have lots of Christmas shopping to do. Can't wait to see Narnia.
