Skywatch Friday = The 18'th Hole At Piedmont Golf Club

Skywatch Friday = The 18'th Hole At Piedmont Golf Club

in

Our Gated Golf Club Community

This is the smallest pond on the Piedmont Golf Course and it is surrounded with weeping willows and cattails. Notice that the leaves on the weeping willows have turned yellow while the skies are very grey today. It has suddenly turned really cold in the last 24 hours. We went from 65 degrees yesterday morning to 40 degrees yesterday afternoon!

I like this view. It looks like late fall but the greens are still very green. The nice thing about weeping willows is that they are one of the last trees to lose their leaves in the fall and one of the first trees to send out new leaves in the spring.
The skies are grey but a little bit of blue is showing thru the clouds.

That's it. Now please go visit some other Skywatch Friday memes by clicking here:

I hope to visit more Skywatch Friday sites tonight since it is not Thanksgiving Thursday today

That cramped my blog viewing last week.

A gated community and a golf course with weeping willows. Wow. You must be rich. Sure looks like a nice place to be standing and taking pictures. We are supposed to get 3 inches of snow tonight. I am not sure that I am ready for that but will have to set back and read some more in my Foxfire books.

I'm a miserable golfer but I love golf courses. Great pics of a nice area.

I had a willow tree at a house back east. Although messy trees in the fall, they were fun to sit under in the summer.

It's lovely out there Joann. I especially loved how the weeping willow framed your first shot but all of them were very nice. Have a great weekend.
