Good News This Week!
Good news this week! Our daughter's beau who has spent this past year in Iraq with the VA National Guard has now left Iraq and is spending his last days in the Middle East in Kuwait. Hurrah! By the middle of July we hopefully will be able to see him here in Virginia. We will give him a beer to celebrate his safe return.

I'll drink to that !!! Prayers for a safe return to family and friends.
Hope he has a safe trip home. He'll have stories to tell of his year over there, and some he probably won't want to talk about. Our Granddaughter was over there for around six months, right after it all started. She's still having some problems. It was quite an experience.
J&J: That is good news, a lot of kids who never thought they would see action have been put in harms way.

Patty, my wife of 53 years said it all, so I am left to say: I do visit and I do comment and I was here. I did look at your picture(s) and I did read what you wrote about them. I could say how great you are and how beautiful your work is but alas I would soon run out of things to say on the next blog I visited, so I just left this to prove I stopped and said a few words.
