I shot these three photos this evening around 7:00 P.M. I aimed my camera at the sun slowly setting in the southwest quadrant of my yard. I like this first photo best. It almost looks like the sky is the Chesapeake Bay with an island or two in the lower righthand corner of the photo.
This sky shot has more yard and trees in the photo.
And here I have some sky as a backdrop to the rosa rugosa bush and the black knight butterfly bush that is just starting to blossom.Now double click here to visit other Skywatch Friday memes:

I like the first shot, too, but those colorful flowers sure grab my attention!
These are beautiful shots of the sky...the images are almost dreamlike. That is a lovely effect.
