The Next 100 Years

The Next 100 Years
This is the cover and the title of a book I just read. It is a fascinating look at what might happen in the future. How can anyone predict the future let alone write a book about it? I don't know.

But George Friedman who wrote this non-fiction book has you seriously thinking about some of his far out ideas about the future by the time you finish reading this book.

He makes some good arguments for these two long range predictions:
By 2080 outerspace will give energy to planet earth
By 2100 Mexico will challenge the U.S. for world dominence.
Of course few of us will be alive in 2100 to tell him that his predictions were either right or wrong.
