We found this unique contemporary loft by stopping at the Quebec Info Center at the border between the province of Ontario and the province of Quebec. This renovated old building in the walled city of the Upper Town of Quebec City on Rue St. Jean had a keyed doorpad that led to this hallway decorated with real tree branches that led to the elevator that led to our apartment on the second floor of the building.
Soon as we entered the building we discovered Barbara Streisand staring at us. When we entered our apartment we discovered a huge powder room with washer and dryer for our use.
I liked the very modern raised sink in the powder room.
I loved the black, white and red living room and dining room that had a very contemporary decor.
The very modern furnishings contrasted well with the very old brick walls and arched windows. Very cool
And the small kitchenette was all stainless steel, sleek woods and granite.
Red velvet drapes could be used to close the window views
View from second floor landing
View from the circular staircase
The very modern bed that had attached running boards just like a Model T Ford with running boards!

Asian zen on the modern black and white dresser
See the smooth rocks.
Upstairs bathroom
The cool looking modern shower that had a clear glass window that overlooked the living room below. Just a white and very sheer shower curtain kept the person showering from the view of someone down in the living room! LOL!
This place was not your typical motel room rental. I would love to stay here again. Next time I'll come with laundry soap to do some dirty laundry.

What a wonderful place to stay! So much better than an hotel - except for having to make your own bed every day. Or not.
