The Weather Outside is Frightful

The weather ourside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
A good day to sit by the fire and read. I finished Stone Cold, by David Baldacci and now I am finishing The Hill Road, by Patrick O'Keeffe. The setting is in Ireland in a rural dairy district in the second half of the 20'th century. This book won the Story Prize for 2005. What are you reading this winter? Anything good or grrrrrrrrrrrreat as Tony the Tiger used to say. If you have any suggestions for a good read, leave a comment here. I love to learn what others are reading be it fiction or non-fiction.

I'm reading The Smartest Guys in the Room and like it a lot. It's a little dense, but very fascinating.

Stone Cold. It is an expression I haven't heard in years and had no idea there was a book by that title. There are other equally neat expressions about the cold but this might not be the place to put them. LOL

Happy Valentine's Day to you and to your family.
