I read Eat, Pray, Love. I liked it pretty well, I'll have to try a couple of the other ones you have listed here.
I will want to read the sequel to Eat, Pray, Love to see how she is doing now that she is married again. Of all the March reads I liked the Bastard of Istanbul the best. And I found the autographed copy of Senator Webb's novel at a local garage sale. I liked it because it was about Douglas MacArthur, the WWII war hero who was both famous and infamous. Caanan combines the post Civil War in Viginia with the destruction of the Indian tribes of the West and Custer's last stand. The book tried to cover too much history in different areas of the U.S. with too many characters. Of all the characters my favorite was the Indian woman who married a former black slave from Virginia. I don't really recommend this book. Too complex. He should have written several books about these historic events and developed the characters more in my opinion.
