Did March Come in Like a Lion?

Where you live did March come in like a lion or a little lamb? Here in Northern Virginia it came in like a lion with cold winds blowing across the yard. See this lion. Many years ago it frightened my husband to death when he saw it in of all things a lumber company business in St. Joseph, Missouri. It was the Wyeth Hardware and Manufacturing Company. Today this same stuffed lion resides in the Historic Wyeth House Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The top of the lion's head must be around six feet and when it was in the lobby of the Wyeth Company, it was not in a glass case. I can see where that lion would frighten a little five year old boy. I was a little intimidated just looking at the lion in the glass display case. What can I say. You never know what you are going to see when you go sightseeing in the state of Missouri.

Our's came in like a lamb ~~ with a growl -- is that possible. It was pretty mild ~ I love the Lion in your picture. But then, I love lions! I did a watercolor of a Lion and cub...one of my favorites.

Oh, Wanda, I would have prefered a lamb on Saturday. But when I check all the daily city blog posts and see all the snow up north I know we are lucky to not have to fight the snow and ice each day this winter.

I like lions too but they are a tad scarry.
