White swans are in the water and the palm trees and sky are in reflection.
The very top of the Bok Tower Carrilon that was designed in art deco style by Mr. Bok who wanted to create this massive carrilon that gets played every day of the year. Jack and I got to listen to Christmas carols being played by the carrilon. Magical and magnificent moment!
Little sky in this photo but I wanted you to see the beautiful gold doors that lead to the inside of the carrilon. Only volunteers get to go inside. Some volunteers do work just to get a glimps of the inside and the view of Orlando from the very top of the tower.
Hope you enjoyed my Bok Tower Tour. If you want more info on the Bok Tower, you can go here with a click: http://boksanctuary.org/

First SWF for 2009!
The blue sky and tropical growth in your pics seem so foriegn to me right now. I don't know when we'll see blue again.
Great phots. Really like the ones with the tree's. Hope you have a wonderful New Years.
You live in such a beautiful area. We haven't traveled to Florida yet but we'll have to put it on our list. It's wonderful to meet another retired educator. Have a wonderful New Year!

Joann: What a wonderful sky show around the tower. The reflecting shot of the swans and tower were outstanding. You did a neat job of getting all those angles.
Some very interesting shots you have here. Beautiful! Happy SWF
A very beautiful post indeed.
I was lucky enough to listen to the bell riners practice across the water at one of the Sydney Universities while the Prof was at a conference. I think I got the better deal.
