Our younger daughter and her boyfriend Bryan took in the Renaissance Fair that is going on this fall up in Maryland on the weekends. Looks like they had a real good time. My neighbor Dickie goes every year dressed up in a costume. I think you would have a lot more fun at one of these historical fairs than at a Civil War Re-Enactment which we also have in great supply here in Virginia and Maryland.
Can you believe this is the first day of October? Tomorrow I will walk you round the yard to see how it looks at the beginning of October. Came back to add that we had a terrific storm last night. Dickie has more details on her blog. But we were under a tornado watch and we got wind, rain and hail pounding the house and gardens. I will probably spend time today picking up blown leaves and dirt outside.

Jeanine, it struck me that in the bottom photo you show a remarkable resemblance to Sarah Moosehunter Palin. What do you think of that?
Looks like they wre enjoying themselves.
Hi J and J, Hope the clean up is going well. Beautiful daughter. Please tell her boyfriend thanks from me. Pappy
Jeanine, I love that picture of you and Bryan. Very cute! I'm, of course, disappointed that you were not in your ren attire--I'm sure you got a flogging for that.
Joann: Jeanine is a cutie, she looks like that was fun. Is she throwing a screw driver?
